There has been a lot of speculation about the future for NBA superstar Damian Lillard. Will he stay with the always-struggling Portland Trail Blazers or will he head to another team, such as the New York Knicks or Philadelphia 76ers? Rumors have reached an all-time high, although Lillard himself has stayed very quiet about the subject.

However, his team CJ McCollum isn't staying silent. He spoke to The Woj Pod and gave some insight into Lillard's state of mind and what the upcoming season holds for Dame and the Blazers. Portland fans will be very pleased with CJ's statement.

«I don't want to speak for him, but having a close relationship, him, he and I talk every day, or every other day, from sharing memes to sending videos to each other to serious talks about our season, what it takes to win, what it's going to takes to win a championship, I have a pretty good sense of where he's at. And I think his goal is to win a championship.

«I think, at the end of the day, that's what we all want. We want to put ourselves in the best position to win a championship. But I mean, he's all in. I think at this stage I can say that he's all in. He just wants to win at the end of the day.»

Hearing that Lillard is "all in" is great news for Portland. The team would be absolutely devastated if it lost him. However, McCollum made a point to say that Lillard "just wants to win", which means he may ship himself out of Portland if he doesn't believe winning is possible. That means that this season really is do-or-die for the Trail Blazers. They need to go very, very far or start looking for a new star point guard.
