LaMarcus Aldridge abruptly left the NBA back in April after heart issues forced him to retire. While it had been a few years since the player had been in his prime, the loss of Aldridge was painful to the Brooklyn Nets.

However, it sounds like he is returning. There had recently been rumors that Aldridge was seeking medical expertise and inquiring about coming back to the league. Doctors have given him the thumbs up and he is officially ready to play again.
