The people of Memphis have something to rejoice about, now that Ja Morant has agreed to remain a Grizzly for the next 5 years.

Adrian Wojnarowski went on twitter, to report on the news:

Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant has agreed on a five-year, $193M designated rookie maximum extension that could become worth $231M

At 22 years old, Morant is a legitimate superstar, averaging 27.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 6.7 assists.

This is also a significant contract for the young buck, placing him among the highest-paid young athletes in NBA history.
