Ben Simmons is in the perfect place

Now that everything has settle down in Brooklyn, we can finally look closely at their players and how they will work together.

The fact the Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving ended up staying in Brooklyn will help Ben Simmons get back on track and he should be the first one excited about it.

As all NBA fans in the world knows, Ben Simmons made it clear last season that he was not going to play with the Philadelphia 76ers and Joel Embiid and was sent to the Brooklyn Nets on a mega trade that included superstar James Harden leaving Brooklyn to Philadelphia.

He did had some mental health and physical issues but he is finally completely healthy and ready to play ( we hope) this season.

Before even all this saga started, Ben Simmons was knows for not wanting to shoot a 3 pts in any regular or playoff game and at the end of his time with the 76ers, he did not want to shoot at all.

He is a passer first and he is excellent at it but to have the luxury to only pass you need to have good shooters around you and with the Brooklyn Nets, he can't expect a better place ( except maybe for the Warriors of course).

You can clown on Ben Simmons, he's earned some of that, right? But, Ben Simmons never played on a team with this many shooters on him. He never had this many shooters in Philly ... If it doesn't work, it's because of Ben. It's not because of anything else. The way that Golden State uses Draymond at the elbows, that's how I would use Ben Simmons in this offense They double KD, swings back to Ben at the top of the key and he's gotta be going downhill at that point. And I'd live with whatever decisions he makes 'cause there's gonna be shooters on either side of him or he can go to the rim himself.

Everything is on Ben Simmons court now, if he fails to perform with such the perfect teammates around him, he won't be able to blame anyone else then him. He will play with a chip on his shoulder, as one NBA analyst predicted and the NBA world will be looking at him.

He might be the difference between the Brooklyn Nets getting sweep in the first round or win the NBA Championship.
