Ben Simmons had a forgettable playoff performance this year. He was the main subject of memes throughout the internet last week.

The Philadelphia 76ers' star was criticized for his lack of offensive power, perimeter shooting and efficient free throw shooting. On his four years with the league, Simmons hasn't developed a reliable perimeter jumper. And much worse, his free throw percentages were dipping.

The 3x NBA All Star shot 34% from the free throw line throughout 12 games he played in the playoffs. He was 22 for 67 from the charity stripe and the 45 missed FT's is an NBA playoff record.

But Ben Simmons high school coach believes that his shooting woes can be fixed. He added that it is all mental rather than physical.

Simmons is one of the young talented players in the league and his defense alone impacts the game. But if he wants to to take it to the next level, he needs to fix his free throw shooting and add a 3-point shot on his game.
