Basketball Star Faces Murder Charges

A basketball star, primarily known for his time in the G-League and his tenure with the Portland Trailblazers, is now facing murder charges connected to the death of 23-year-old Marayna Rodgers.

Basketball Career

The player facing these charges is the big man, Chance Comanche, who has played in the NBA as recently as this year. Despite going undrafted in 2017, Chance has spent time in various leagues, most notably the G-League. He had tenures with the Memphis Hustle and the Stockton Kings before making his NBA debut for the Trailblazers in a 157-101 loss to the Warriors.





Murder Charges

Comanche's lone NBA appearance seems to mark the end of his basketball career as it crumbles amid these recent charges. Following the allegations linking Chance and his girlfriend, Sakari Hamden, the Kings have officially cut ties with the player.

The couple was apprehended on the 15th on kidnapping charges. However, these charges are expected to be updated after detectives established their involvement in the murder of Rodgers. She was last seen with Comanche and Hamden two days before being declared missing.
