BREAKING: Massive update on the return of Ja Morant to the Grizzlies
Ja Morant's eight-game NBA suspension is finally over, and the two-time All-Star guard can rejoin his team.
Indeed, he is expected to be on the bench Monday night when Memphis hosts Dallas. Although, it's unclear exactly when he'll play, with the earliest being Wednesday. The Grizzlies announced Sunday that Morant will not play against the Mavs due to a "Return to Competition Reconditioning.'' This is not surprising. Here is a report from Shams Charania:
«He's out tonight [against the Mavs] even though his 8-game suspension is over. He's gonna miss tonight; they're gonna ramp him up. I'm told he could return to the lineup as soon as Wednesday at home against the Rockets,» Charania said, per FanDuel TV.
The NBA world sure is excited to have one of the biggest stars back on the court. It's still unclear whether or not more discipline will be sent Morant's way due to his actions lately. Hopefully, he learned his lesson, and he will start acting like a grown-up and be a good role model to young kids looking up to him.
