BREAKING: Damian Lillard Could Request A Trade From Portland Trail Blazers

The Portland Trail Blazers had a very disappointing season, losing to the injury-riddled Denver Nuggets in 6 games of West First Round.

The Blazers have let go their long time head coach Terry Stotts after their early playoff exit. Two days ago, Chauncey Billups has been hired by the Blazers to become their new head coach.

But Lillard seems to be unhappy with the move. All of the candidates who were interviewed were not suggested by him.

According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Lillard could be pushed away from Portland following backlash from the Blazers' HC search and his skepticism "whether a championship contender can be built,»



The Blazers' star also replied to this series of tweets from a fan talking about Billups 1994 rape case. Lillard has been attacked on social media for a head coaching search that he had no part of



Lillard had no prior knowledge of sexual assault allegations against Billups from 1997.

The 6'3 guard out of Weber State recently tweeted a cryptic post last night.


Lillard has been with the Blazers for nine years and they made the Western Conference Finals once in 2019. But they haven't made it past the first round for four times in five years.
