Another huge guarantee pick-up by the Brooklyn Nets

The Nets are close to almost done signing Markieff Morris. The 2 sides are in discussion already, and preparing to sign him to a multi year deal, according to @TheSteinLine.

The Nets signed Yuta Watanabe last Sunday and appear to be stockpiling forwards for the upcoming season. They were short in that position last season, which hampered their overall game, and it wouldn't hurt them to leverage as many players in that position as possible.


Markieff Morris averaged 7.6 points and 2.6 rebounds in 17.5 minutes per game for the Heat in 2021-22. Morris is an adequate parameter defensive player who, with his experience, will be a valuable addition to this Nets star roster.
