Curry, Davidson's all-time leading scorer with 2,635 points, will have his No. 30 jersey and number retired, be inducted into the Davidson Athletics Hall of Fame and also receive his diploma.
In May, 13 years after entering the NBA, Curry earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with a sociology major and received his diploma today.


Director of Athletics Chris Clunie said it's a lot of honors to do at once, but it's also Steph Curry:

• The star of Davidson's 2008 Elite Eight run
• The NBA's career 3-point leader with 3,117 treys made
• The two-time NBA MVP, who just led the Warriors to their fourth world championship in eight years

"We're doing it in threes — Steph likes threes, right?" he said.

Curry's No. 30 will be the first number Davidson has retired.
