Andre Drummond Left Lakers to Move Back in the Eastern Conference

Since Dwight Howard moved back to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Philadelphia 76ers needed to find a new center to replace him.

Who did they settle on? Andre Drummond.

This will be a bit ironic since 76ers star Joel Embiid has long been ragging on Drummond and his playing abilities. In fact, Embiid has repeatedly said that Drummond can't shoot or play defense. That should make the locker room a bit awkward.

Drummond has proven to be a good backup center - at times. Sometimes he is on a hot streak, sometimes he can't get anything accomplished on the floor. He will have to really listen to coach Doc Rivers and find a place for himself among Embiid and the rest of the 76ers squad if he hopes to make an impact and help lead the 6ers to the playoffs.

Although much of Drummond's abilities are inconsistent at best, he has always been a strong rebounder. That will help Philly in the defense department.
