As broken earlier, Britney Griner has been sentenced to 9 years in Russia. The court didn't grant her appeal and found her guilty.

Adam Silver and the league have been really silent about sharing their thoughts on the situation as they have been advised not to get into political matters.

Well, a key interview was just aired on NBA today with Malika Andrews, where Adam Silver explains the leagues role following the sentence of Griner.
