2021 NBA Draft Lottery Results, Winners and Losers

The NBA draft lottery was held tonight. NBA deputy commissioner Mark Tatum announced the order of the 2021 NBA draft.

The Detroit Pistons will be picking 1st while the Houston Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers will be picking 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

Here is the complete order of lottery teams that will pick in the 2021 draft.

WINNERS
1. The Detroit Pistons will be picking a top 2 pick for the first time since 2003 where they selected Darko Milicic, of whom many consider a bust.

2. The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Toronto Raptors move 2 and 3 spots up, respectively.


The Cavaliers have been always lucky in the lottery.


3. The Golden State Warriors and the Orlando Magic will be picking twice each in the lottery. The Magic will get the 8th pick from the Chicago Bulls as the result of Nikola Vucevic to Chicago last trade deadline.
The Minnesota Timberwolves will surrender the 7th pick to the Warriors as a result of trade centered to Andrew Wiggins and D'Angelo Russell.

LOSERS
1. The Oklahoma City Thunder moved two spots down in the draft.

2. The Minnesota Timberwolves and the Chicago Bulls won't have any pick in the first round of 2021 NBA draft.

Meanwhile, according to ESPN insider, Adrian Wojnarowski, Cade Cunningham, who's projected to be the 1st overall pick in this year's draft will only visit and workout for the Detroit Pistons.
