The Brooklyn Nets received some devastating injury news regarding one of their star players today.

Reports Indicate Brooklyn Nets Star Injured

A report from NBA insider extraordinaire Shams Charnia has confirmed that Brooklyn Nets star Cam Thomas is dealing with an ankle injury.

Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas is expected to miss two weeks with a left ankle sprain, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. The 22-year-old has averaged 26.9 points and 3.8 rebounds over eight games this season

The loss of Thomas for the next two weeks will be massive for the Nets. He was having a breakout year scoring before the injury. Thomas had almost doubled his minutes from last season and significantly increased many different stat categories while shooting more efficiently.

Lonnie Walker IV will be in line for more minutes in Thomas' absence. Hopefully for the Nets once Thomas returns he can continue along his breakout path.
