After missing the last two games due to injury, Raptors star OG Anunoby remains doubtful for the in-season tournament match against the Celtics.

In season Tournament Matchup

With the first-ever NBA in-season tournament underway, this season has kicked off with more intensity than ever before. With a limited number of spots available past the group stage, every single game is crucial for teams aiming to win. Anunoby, despite suffering from a finger laceration, might consider playing through his injury to assist the Raptors in topping their group.

Although it's not a severe, long-term injury, Anunoby could make a return in the upcoming games. Currently listed as doubtful for tonight's game, he's not expected to play. However, given the added incentive of the in-season tournament, don't be surprised if OG decides to suit up.

Anunoby's Season so far

Entering his seventh season with the Raptors after being drafted 23rd overall, Anunoby may not have ascended to All-Star status, but his consistent performance over the last 3 to 4 years has made him a reliable player for the Canadian franchise.

This season, he's been averaging 16.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game, but it's his impressive field goal percentage that truly stands out. Shooting over half of his attempted shots, Anunoby ranks among the most efficient players in the league, and his absence is keenly felt by the Raptors whenever he's not on the court.

With the Celtics missing key stars like Jaylen Brown, Al Horford, and Kristaps Porzingis, the opportunity for Toronto to pull off an upset exists, especially if OG returns, which would undoubtedly bolster their chances.
