Mike Brown's Shocking Statement About De'Aaron Fox & Domantas Sabonis

Each year, when the All-Star rosters are unveiled, a familiar tune of discontent echoes, lamenting the notable exclusions. This time, the spotlight is on Sacramento Kings' tandem, De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis, drawing impassioned support from their coach, Mike Brown.

Brown vocalized his support, stating,

«It's clear to anyone who watches the NBA and Kings basketball that De'Aaron and Domantas should have been selected for this year's All-Star game.»

Emphasizing their exceptional performance, he pointed out Domantas's historic double-doubles and De'Aaron's career-high in 3-pointers. To him, their omission is not just a regular snub but a "glaring wrongdoing."

For Sabonis, the absence from the All-Star lineup carries financial implications, as he stands to miss a $1.3 million bonus unless named as an injury replacement. Given the current absence of Western Conference All-Stars with long-term injuries, the prospects of securing the bonus appear slim.

Several prominent players missed out on invitations to the 2024 NBA All-Star Game, including Rudy Gobert, Brandon Ingram, Lauri Markkanen, Jamal Murray, Kristaps Porzingis, Trae Young, and Alperen Sengun.
