Sixers planning on new look offense with this player

This 76ers are looking for any options they can to turn their season around again. They are currently in a freefall, losing 7 of their last 8 games, with the only win being the night Tyrese Maxey went off for 51 points against the Jazz. They may be looking to change up their offense, and grasp at something top save their season.

Recent reports indicate they have reached out to the Trail Blazers for a trade to acquire Malcom Brogdon. Philadelphia is attempting to add a combo guard who's comfortable either running the offense or playing off the ball. That description fits Brogdon, who handled both roles while winning Sixth Man of the Year honors last season in Boston. However, the Trail Blazers are reluctant to trade him.

Brogdon is hitting for 44% from the field and 41.2% from three-point range. He has a salary of $22.5 million this year and next year but the Trail Blazer seem content with paying that unless blown away by an offer.

It seems the Sixers will have to offer Kings Ransom for Brogdon, but it shows what they are planning with their Star Embiid injured for an extended period of time. Who can save the Sixers season? The trade deadline in less than 48 hours away, only time will tell.
