Details regarding Julius Randle's rehab have been revealed
When Julius Randle suffered a shoulder injury against the Miami Heat on Jan. 27, the Knicks were concerned about the well-being of their All-Star forward.
Thankfully, the severity of his injury, a dislocated right shoulder, was not as dire as initially feared. Consequently, New York announced that Randle would undergo re-evaluation in two to three weeks. This update, provided approximately two weeks ago, indicates that the Knicks are encouraged by Randle's rehabilitation progress. SNY's Ian Begley reports that the team is feeling optimistic and enthusiastic about his recovery journey.
«I've heard during this period that there's been some positive progression here during the rehab and I think that's left people with even more reason to be optimistic that Randle will be back at some point this season,»
said Begley.
Another 2-3 weeks of rehab lie ahead for Randle. Following this period, a decision will be reached regarding his return or the prospect of undergoing surgery, which could lead to him being sidelined for the remainder of the season.
