Karl-Anthony Towns will have surgery to fix a torn left meniscus and will undergo reevaluation after a month.

He is anticipated to rejoin the game in the early stages of the Western Conference playoffs.

Despite appearing in 60 out of the Timberwolves' first 62 games, Towns, a 2024 All-Star, has been averaging 22.1 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game.

The Wolves boast a 3-0 record without Towns this season, yet he remains a pivotal component of the team's dynamics. Meanwhile, his teammate Anthony Edwards is enjoying one of the best seasons of his career, positioning the Wolves to maintain their position at the top of the Western Conference.
