Timberwolves Guard Out For Several Weeks
During the Timberwolves' Monday night game against the Celtics, veteran guard Jordan McLaughlin was sidelined with an injury. The injury is still fairly new, and it is unknown how long Jordan will be out, but it is expected that he will be out of action for a minimum of 4 weeks.

Right Knee MCL Sprain
McLaughlin was revealed to be suffering from a left knee sprain, and while he is out now, the Timberwolves' medical staff will be reevaluating this injury in a month's time to see if he's ready to return.
With such an injury, there is never a straightforward length of recovery time, and athletes can return from anywhere between 8 days and 8 weeks. There is no indication of the severity of McLaughlin's case, but the fact that he is being evaluated in a month hints that his circumstances are towards the worse end.
Timberwolves Career
Going undrafted in 2018, he played his first NBA game for the Brooklyn Nets. He only managed one appearance in his rookie season and spent time going back and forth from the G-League to the NBA before finding a full-time spot with the Timberwolves.
Playing in over half of the Timberwolves' games for the last three seasons, McLaughlin had become a staple for Minnesota's bench play. With five games already this season, he looked like he was on track to break his season appearance record of 62 until this unfortunate setback.
