He went on to offer his own insights into the potential reasons behind James' absence.

I've always perceived LeBron and D Wade as having an extremely tight bond, akin to that of a big brother and a little brother. Therefore, I can't help but ask the question: Where was LeBron?"



Bayless later ventured to speculate that James likely had a prior commitment that prevented him from attending the event. He pointed out that LeBron had extended his congratulations to Wade on social media, thereby dismissing any rumors of a falling-out:

"Could LeBron's absence simply be attributed to a prior commitment? It's highly unlikely that Bronny's situation played a role in this. I believe LeBron could have been there if circumstances permitted. After all, LeBron did convey his congratulations on social media. Hence, it's improbable that a feud was the cause. I just can't envision it. Curiously, LeBron James posted a video of himself driving around Akron on Monday. The key point being, he was back in his hometown, Akron. That was on Monday."
