Lakers Set to Make Huge Splash

The Lakers are in the middle of a stretch they are not used to in the NBA. They have one of the best players of all time on their roster in Lebron James, however can't seem to find help around him other than an often-injured Anthony Davis. They seem to be constantly hovering around play-in playoff status, instead of near the top of standings.

It seems like this coming offseason they will be done playing around and looking to re-establish themselves as the team to beat in the Western Conference. Legion Hoops reports that the Lakers are targeting three huge superstars this offseason with the hope of adding at least one of them to their roster.

They will be going after Donovan Mitchel, Kyrie Irving and Trae Young. All are fantastic players who would turn the Lakers from play-in team to instant powerhouse. Pairing any of those players with James and Davis would form an immediate new Big Three in the NBA. The Lakers are reportedly willing to cough up three or more first round picks in order to get a deal done.
