As he readies himself to pursue his 5th NBA championship, he takes on the role of supervising the training and conditioning of his Lakers teammate, Rui Hachimura.

Rui, having recently inked a new 3-year, $51 million deal to remain with the Lakers for the foreseeable future, demonstrates his dedication to the organization by forgoing participation in the FIBA World Cup this summer. This decision allows him to allocate more time towards preparing for the upcoming season.
