Despite their recent victory in the first-ever NBA in-season tournament, the Lakers have hit a rough patch. Fans have reached their breaking point following this disappointing form, especially after a shocking loss to the struggling Chicago Bulls. Now, head coach Darvin Ham is facing heavy criticism as fans lash out at him online.
Lakers recent StrugglesSince their victory in the in-season tournament, the Lakers have only secured one win in their last five matches. These losses include upsetting defeats against the struggling Spurs and now the Bulls. In fairness, the Lakers have grappled with significant injury issues during this stretch, prompting James to publicly criticize the team. However, even with key players returning to the lineup, their recent loss against Chicago, despite fielding Lebron, Davis, Russell, Reaves, and most of the main rotation, cannot be excused.

What makes this loss to the Bulls so outrageous is not just the fact that they are one of the worst teams in the association this season, but also the fact that they were beaten by a compromised version of this side. The Bulls played without their best player, Zach Lavine, who remains out injured.
Despite Los Angeles having more star power in their favor, they still managed to throw this game away, losing 124-108. The main factor was the Bulls' overall team play, involving numerous players from all aspects of the rotation. In fact, the Bulls had 8 players record at least 10 points, including former Laker Caruso and California native Demar Derozan, who finished with a game-high 27.
