After Weeks of frustrations Former Celtics Big Man Daniel Theis has finally reached a buyout deal with the Indiana Pacers.

Since being traded to the Pacers in the deal for Malcolm Brogdon, Daniel Theis has seen very little NBA action. He appeared only 7 times last season for the Pacers and just once so far this season.

The Pacers' focus on developing younger talent like Myles Turner and Jalen Smith explains why they haven't utilized the 31-year-old Theis much. However, he himself has ambitions of playing and has publicly expressed his frustrations, which ultimately led to this buyout.

After an incredible summer where Theis won a World Cup Gold Medal with the German national team, he proved he can be part of a winning roster. This, paired with his 7 years of NBA experience, including multiple deep playoff runs with the Celtics, makes Theis very valuable to competing teams.

One particular team that stands out is the Los Angeles Clippers, who have their starting center out with injury for several months. With their recent struggles, a replacement big man may be the key to unlocking this squad, and if rumors are to be believed, the Clippers will be signing Theis within the coming days.
