After a positive start to the season, the Clippers' form took a nosedive the moment they traded for former MVP James Harden. Since the superstar's arrival, the Clippers have endured a 6-game losing streak, with many pointing fingers at Harden, including the infamous Mavericks announcer, who ruthlessly criticized Harden live on air.

However, Harden silenced the haters during last night's game against the Rockets. With only seconds of game time remaining He made an incredible 4-point play to take the lead and end the Clippers unfortunate streak.

Hardens Form

Harden looked awful when he first joined the Clippers. In his initial 4 games, he averaged less than 14 points per game, which was way below the standard we're used to seeing from the former MVP. Part of this decline could be attributed to his refusal to participate in the preseason with Philadelphia and his absence from playing since last season before moving to Los Angeles.

However, he seems to be making a comeback, delivering back-to-back 20-point games, including a near-triple-double last night, as Harden finished with 9 rebounds, 7 assists, and 24 points.

Clippers Turnaround

While it's just one game out of seven, last night's victory seems to be a turning point for the Clippers. Their slow start was attributed to the overwhelming star power on the court. Leonard, George, and Russell Westbrook, all ball-dominant players, faced challenges integrating another dominant player.

With fewer opportunities for individual plays, the team struggled until Russell Westbrook requested a move to the bench. Although he didn't stand out in the Clippers' victory, the adjustment was pivotal, allowing the three remaining stars to thrive.

While the win was narrow, sealed by Harden's incredible shot, there's still room for improvement. Nonetheless, last night's game indicates that the Clippers are on the right track to turning their season around.
