Angry Russell Westbrook Scarily Confronts Fan After Recent Loss
Russell Westbrook is known as one of the most passionate players in the NBA today. In his last game, however, his passion turned sour after he angrily confronted a fan in the crowd.
Clippers Lose to NuggetsDespite being the reigning champions following their first-ever Finals series win last season, the Nuggets were considered underdogs in their recent matchup against the Clippers.
With the Nuggets missing their two best players in Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic, this appeared to be an easy win for the Clippers, who had all four of their key stars in Leonard, George, Harden, and Westbrook. However, despite this, the Nuggets still managed to pull off a 113-104 victory. The primary reason for this was the emergence of former Clipper Reggie Jackson, who delivered arguably the greatest performance of his career.
Reggie Jackson Career Game
Reggie Jackson has been a consistent rotation player in the NBA for the last decade. During his 13-year career so far, he's had stints on four separate franchises, but his most memorable would be last year for the Nuggets, where he contributed to winning an NBA championship.
While many other stars surrounded him, Jackson hasn't been asked to do too much for the Nuggets. His experience and consistency make him a valuable role player for Denver. However, in their latest win over the Clippers, he proved that he can certainly step up to stardom when necessary.
Despite facing two former MVPs on the opposing team, Jackson managed to lead the game in both scoring and assists, finishing with 35 points and 13 assists. This is especially impressive considering that his scoring outburst is over triple the amount of points he has averaged since joining the Nuggets.
One possible reason for Jackson's standout performance could be linked to the Clippers trading him away last season. Reggie may have been proving a point to his former side, or it may have been the first time that Jackson needed to step up with both primary stars out of action. Regardless of the reason, it was clear that he was the main factor in the Nuggets' victory, which now puts them at 12-6.
Westbrook Confronts fan
After the win, it was actually Jackson's former Thunder teammate who stole the spotlight. Westbrook, visibly overwhelmed with emotion after the loss, angrily confronted a fan sitting in attendance as he exited to the locker room.

Considering his passion and pride for the game, it's not surprising that Westbrook lashed out. He actually has a track record of reacting to disrespectful fans on the sidelines.
It's unknown what was said to trigger the former MVP, but given his post-game comments, it was likely something very personal. The comment infuriated Brodie to such an extent that it took referees and players from both teams to restrain him. This is what he had to say after the incident.
