NBA Fines Star $25k

After Dillon Brooks' preseason ejection, just 5 minutes into his Houston Rockets debut, the NBA has fined the Canadian star $25,000 for recklessly making contact to the groin area of Daniel Theis.

After his ejection during Tuesday's game, online. Now, fans have hilariously trolled Brooks since the fine has been announced, they are taking the trolling even further, continuing to mock the Rockets' new acquisition.

`While most fans are trolling Brooks, some feel that Brooks' ejection was a clear accident, and he is being punished based on his reputation rather than his actions. Nonetheless, the fine stands, and Brooks will be looking to make up for his rough start this season with the Rockets.

His role for the Grizzlies was complementary to other stars such as Ja Morant and Desmond Bane. Still, as a new veteran for this young Rockets core, he will likely be called upon for a larger role than he's initially used to. Due to this, you can probably expect his numbers to increase over the course of this season. Last year, he averaged 14.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game.
