Fans Hilariously Troll Dillon Brooks for Pre Season Ejection
Dillon Brooks has garnered a reputation as an NBA villain over the past year due to his antics during the playoffs against the Lakers and his behavior while representing Team Canada at the FIBA World Cup this summer. His new persona, dubbed "Dillon the Villain," appeared to have worked in his favor as he signed a four-year, $80 million contract with the Houston Rockets.
However, the Rockets might already be starting to regret this signing, as he managed to get ejected from his first game for the franchise, which happened to be just a single preseason game. Understandably, fans reacted to this by trolling him online.Everytime we try to support this guy in canada he embarrasses us again and again. pic.twitter.com/SsxdCa7jKM Omilli Tees💙⭕️ (@OmilliTees) October 11, 2023

New Look Rockets
Getting ejected within 5 minutes of your debut is not an ideal start. In all seriousness, Brooks had a really impressive showing at the World Cup as he won a Bronze medal with Canada. After proving to be a reliable role player for the Grizzlies over the last several years, the veteran toughness of Dillon is an addition to the Rockets' young core.
On top of this, the Rockets signed former champion Fred VanVleet, who will come in to help mold this young core with the help of new head coach Ime Udoka. While the western conference is stacked with quality teams, the Rockets will have a tough time trying to make the playoffs, but with this offseason, they have certainly taken a step in the right direction.
