End of an Era: Star Guard to Test Free Agency

The Golden State Warriors dynasty might finally be coming to an end. They currently sit in 10th place in the West, an unfamiliar spot for them. Star Steph Curry has recently said the team is incredibly average, and average is not going to get it done in this league.

Klay Thompson, an essential piece of that dynasty, who created the Splash Bros with Steph Curry, is hitting free agency this summer. It has recently been reported that he will be testing free agency, with multiple teams already showing interest in signing the sharpshooter.


Thompson has recently lost his starting job and has become the 6th man on the Warriors squad, a move he was not happy about, but one he accepted and then went out and had his best game of the season, showing he still has what it takes to produce in the NBA.


Miami, Orlando and both the LA Clippers and LA Lakers have shown interest in signing Thompson, with more team likely to emerge as the offseason approaches. Where Thompson signs could send shock waves through the NBA if he finds the right fit.
