Thompson Chirps Back at Reporters Suggesting He Should Be Benched
With the Warriors underperforming this season, Klay Thompson has been made the scapegoat. In a recent post-game interview, the 4-time champion got testy with reporters calling for him to be benched.

With over three quarters of the season remaining, it is entirely possible that the Splash Brother can turn things around. However, with such high expectations for the best team of the last decade, many are calling for Thompson to be removed from the starting lineup.
Thompson's bitter Interview
With the online slander escalating, one reporter recently asked Thompson about his thoughts on Kerr keeping him and Wiggins in the starting lineup despite their poor form. Clearly agitated by the question, Thompson deferred responsibility to head coach Steve Kerr, telling the reporter to thank Steve for the rotation.
Following this, he called out the negative fans and revealed that he doesn't care about their opinions. He also expressed his belief that he has earned a heightened level of patience to regain form due to his role in the Warriors' four championships in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2021.
