NBA Punishes Warriors Star For Late Game "Flop"
After a late-game flop in a recent Warriors game, one star has been penalized by the NBA as they aim to enforce new 'flopping' rules.

Regarded as an unfair advantage for offensive players, the league has recently started experimenting with rule changes to combat this style of play.
This season, there appears to be an even stronger emphasis on cracking down on flopping, resulting in more players being penalized than in any other season. proof can be seen in the Warriors recent loss to the Clippers where one young star was penalized for a flop late in the game.
Warriors Star Flops
In yet another collapse from this year's Golden State Warriors, the Dubs blew a 22-point lead and lost to the Clippers 113-112. During the final six minutes of this Pacific Division encounter, a young Warriors star was penalized for a flop. Moses Moody, now in his third season as a Warrior, attempted a 3-point shot with 5:22 remaining and was accused of trying to draw a foul during this shot.
Flop Punishment Revealed
With the increased emphasis this season on stopping players from flopping, the late-game call against Moody was reevaluated after the match. Upon further investigation, the NBA decided to fine the 21-year-old $2,000.
