WATCH: Nikola Jokic ejected before the end of first half
Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic was sent off just before halftime in Tuesday's game against the Chicago Bulls, following a dispute about a missed foul call during a matchup with center Nikola Vucevic. The Nuggets were also without star guard Jamal Murray, who sat out due to an ankle injury, and forward Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who left the game with a head contusion.
This incident marks the second ejection for Jokic this season, the first occurring in a November game against the Detroit Pistons where he expressed discontent over a similar non-call. In the earlier game, Nuggets head coach Michael Malone was also ejected before Jokic.
Before his ejection in Tuesday's game, Jokic had tallied four points, shooting 2-of-5, along with nine rebounds and six assists.
