NBA Champion Signs Extension

After leading the Nuggets to their first ever NBA Championship in 2023 Head coach Michael Malone signs a new contract. This extension is said to make Malone one of the highest paid coaches in the league and guarantees his future with the Nuggets for the next several seasons.

Coaching the Nuggets since 2015, Malone is the 4th longest-tenured coach with a single team and looks to continue his long post with this extension. The extension comes following the Nuggets' most successful season yet, and with an overall winning record during his time in Denver, this deal looks like a no-brainer for the organization as they look to repeat this season.
