Mavs Announcer Absolutely COOKED James Harden in a Live Rant

After forcing himself out of his third consecutive team, former MVP James Harden has a lot to prove this season. With his terrible start for the Los Angeles Clippers, Mavericks announcer Brian Dameris went off, brutally roasting Harden live on air.

Harden Forcing Trades

After winning MVP honors and leading the Houston Rockets to multiple conference finals appearances, James Harden gave up on the franchise. With other contending teams like the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers fielding multiple superstars, Harden felt he wasn't able to compete with the Rockets as the sole superstar.

Since then, Harden has formed superteams with the likes of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Joel Embiid, who won MVP last year as Harden's teammate. Despite his superstar teammates, Harden was still unable to break past the conference finals and has once again forced his way out to join the Los Angeles Clippers this season.


With his actions in the last few seasons, refusing to play and giving up on teams, Harden is earning a new reputation as a locker room diva. With Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Russell Westbrook as teammates this season, there should be no excuses for Harden not to succeed this year.

Joining The Clippers

There is now a lot of pressure on Harden as he has been given everything that he has asked for in joining the Clippers. The pressure has only elevated since his arrival due to his egotistical comments about his time spent on the 76ers, where he felt he was held "on a leash" and not allowed to play his own game. He then went on to say that one reason they underachieved in Philadelphia was due to this and claimed that he is not a system player but that he himself is a system.

These comments are coming back to haunt Harden, as since joining the Clippers, they have struggled greatly, losing all three games since his arrival. Of course, there is an adjustment period when bringing in another star like Harden, but this looks especially bad when you compare it to the Philadelphia 76ers, who have started this campaign incredibly well, leading the Eastern Conference with six wins and only one loss.

Mavs Announcer Goes Off on Harden

Brian Dameris is the former Director of Basketball Development for the Dallas Mavericks and now works for BallySports as an announcer for Maverick games. His recent rant has gone viral after Dallas destroyed the Clippers during their in-season tournament fixture last night.

The Mavericks ended up winning 144-126, led by Doncic, who scored 44 points in just 32 minutes of play. With Harden's mediocre performance and the Clippers looking terrible, Dameris did not hold back, calling out Harden and all of his antics over recent years.
