James Harden reason for leaving the Nets revealed

Although it may have been obvious to just about every basketball fan who watched the infamous trio of James Harden, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant wreak havoc on themselves, above any other opponent, James Harden recently confirmed the dysfunction of a Nets dream team presently disassembled:

It was just a lot of dysfunction. Clearly. But it was a lot of internal things that I'm not going to ever just say, put in the media, or anything. And that was one of the reasons why I chose to make my decision. But now, fast forward to date, I don't look like the crazy one.

Mired in his own escape plans from the 76ers, and labelled a quitter after requesting a leave to the team he is now, ironically, trying to extricate himself from, Harden was quick to note that he wasn't the only one to blame for the Nets demise upon the acquisitions of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and himself.

Assembled to challenge for an NBA title, with three potential Hall of Famers leading the way, the trio of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and James Harden only played in sixteen games together with absolutely no momentum established between them during that tenure. Whether it was Irving's refusal to take the Covid vaccine, or Durant's persistent injury issues, or Harden's focus on team play, the Nets couldn't put it together long enough to make a formidable run.

Despite the defence of his own actions, in retrospect, Harden was quick to mention how he enjoyed playing with Irving and Durant. Separating them to playoff contenders might have been the best solution to counter the disastrous decision to bring them together.
